Add your Brioche skills to your Double Knitting skills!! That’s the next step, right?
The inspiration for Nancy Marchant was a scarf for Paris (in Gilmore Girls) Here’s her brioche version.  This beautiful scarf has great drape and is reversible, you have a lovely light side and a lovely dark side.

Prerequisite: somewhat experienced knitter

Skills covered:

• Slip-stitch Double Knitting • 2-color Brioche

• Italian tubular cast-on • Italian bind-off

Purchase, Download and Print a copy of PARIS’S BRIOCHE SCARF by Nancy Marchant NEEDLE: size US 4 (3.5 mm) 24” circular OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
NOTIONS: crochet hook one size smaller than your needles

plus all your regular gadget bag items: scissors, stitch markers, etc. Fingering wt. yarn in two (2) colors – good contrast between the 2 colors
437 yds. of each color; probably best in solid or semisolid yarns

suggestions: Hedgehog Sporty Merino, YOTH Little Brother, Quince & Co Chickadee

Homework: None! We’ll knit gauge swatch in first class. So that means bring several different size needles with you.

Supplies must be purchased at BMYS.  Thank you!
