Christina is a knitwear designer from Asheville, NC. She has been published in Pom Pom Quarterly and has written and published over 50 knitting patterns over a wide range of skill levels. She loves working with local yarn producers to create unique designs that highlight sustainable yarn making. Her first book of knitting patterns: Modern Heritage Knits, will be published in Fall of 2019.
Modern Heritage Knits is a book of 15 original knitting patterns, inspired by American-made yarns. With an in-depth look of the history and revitalization of the textile industry in America, the book pairs sustainably made yarns across the country with patterns appropriate for various climates and regions. Featuring sweaters, hats, shawls, socks and more there is a project for knitters of every skill-level to add to their slow fashion wardrobe!”
