PRIESTESS is a soft and plump DK-weight in 100% extra-fine superwash merino. It is a custom milled 3-ply yarn that we mill especially for softness and drape.
Merino wool is known for its softness, shine and breathability. It ranges in different types, measured by microns which are used to determine the diameter of the wool fiber. The smaller the number, the finer the fiber. Priestess is an extra-fine merino. It is a durable and naturally insulating fiber.
This merino is superwash which keeps the fibers from felting and takes dye easily creating saturated, vibrant colors. Priestess is machine-washable (although hand washing is still recommended) and is great for babies and children. It has a high stitch definition and is great for cables and colorwork.
