This pattern is knit from the bottom up in the round, then separated for front and back which are worked flat. After joining the shoulders, sleeve stitches are picked up and worked in the round, either to long or short length as preferred. Finally collar stitches are picked up and worked.
I recommend using a yarn with cotton or linen content to maximize the comfort for warm weather wear, and a solid or tonal yarn to best show the stitch pattern.
Measurements given are for the finished garment. This sweater is designed to fit with 7-15”/18-38 cm of positive ease at the chest. Sample shown is size 1- worn with 10” / 25.5 cm of positive ease. See Schematic on page 4 for full fit details.
