Choosing the Perfect Yarn for your Project class with Andrea Gaughan

Class Description: In this class, we'll talk all about yarn and how to know what yarns will suit specific projects. We'll talk in depth about yarn characteristics such as fiber content, plies, woolen vs. worsted spun, and color. We'll focus on how these things suit different types of knitting (cables, lace, colorwork, etc.) and different types of projects. Feel free to bring in patterns that you want to knit, and we can talk about what yarns would be great for those projects!
Teacher Bio: Andrea Gaughan is a local knitwear designer who lives in West Asheville. She designs knitting patterns with a focus on great fit and classic style. Her work is centered around slow fashion and empowering knitters to make garments they love to wear.
